Locations of EU Delegations

Locations of EU Delegations

In 2024, there were 145 EU Delegations (diplomatic representations) around the world. 136 of these were to countries and 9 to international organizations.

This number does not include the 27 EU Representations, which are offices representing the European Commission in EU Member States.

N.B. The number of EU delegations is likely to decrease in 2025 or 2026 as the second European Commission of Ursula von der Leyen is contemplating plans to “optimize” EU’s external action.
