European Parliament

The ‘European Parliament’ is the legislative arm among EU institutions and the second largest employer of EU staff, following the European Commission. In 2021 the European Parliament employed 7944 staff members.

The European Parliament has offices in Brussels, Strasbourg, and smaller administrative offices in Luxembourg City. If you are employed by the European Parliament, you can expect the regular commute between Brussels and Strasbourg as plenary sessions alter between both locations, while the various committees primarily meet in Brussels.
